Financial planning can feel a little daunting, but not with us. It’s more like a friendly conversation where we get to know one another, not an interrogation.

We’ll take it step-by-step, that way you will not only be fully informed but also feel in more control of your financial future.

You, you, you.

Our first meeting is about you, your life, your dreams, and your numbers.

We’ll find out:

  • Where you’re at right now (income, expenses, debts, savings, with no judgement)
  • What you want to achieve (from buying a house to buying a holiday house)
  • How you feel about investing (“all in” or “nice and safe, thanks”)
  • Anything else that could shape your plan (like kids, career changes, or that dream to open a gin distillery).

Now we need to figure out how to help you get there.

1

Time to strategise.

The next time we catch up, we’ll throw around some broad strategy ideas that could work for you. Think of it as the Pinterest board for your money, nothing final, but plenty of inspiration.
If you’re keen to go ahead, we’ll agree on a plan preparation fee (depends on how complex things get) and start building your personalised financial plan.

2

The big reveal.

This is when we present your tailored Statement of Advice, which is your personalised money game plan. Here we reveal:

  • The strategies we recommend and why.
  • Any products we think will help.
  • The benefits, risks, costs, and fees, no nasty surprises.

All explained in plain English (no financial gobbledygook), with handy guides to help you understand how it all works.

3

Action stations.

When you’re happy and give us the go-ahead, we get to work, doing stuff like:

  • Setting up or shifting investments
  • Sorting out loans
  • Consolidating your super (so you’re not accidentally paying 3 lots of fees)
  • Getting insurance in place
  • Starting regular contributions to set up your future self.
4

Check-in.

A couple of months later, we’ll give you a call to make sure everything’s ticking along nicely and answer any “wait… what about…” questions.

5

Keeping on track.

Life continually changes, and so will your plan. If you’d like ongoing support, we’ll review your progress regularly, tweak things when needed, and keep you heading in the right direction.
The cost for this depends on how much you want us by your side (from occasional coach to full-on money wingman).

In short, we listen, make a plan that fits your life, explain it clearly, and help you stick with it.
No jargon. No judgement. Just realistic money advice that will make sense.
